VIP Protective Services Pre-Employment Qualifications
VIP Protective Services has resolved to make the recruitment and training of our personnel the key to our success; in that, we conduct pre-employment initiatives that require our applicants to:
- Be at least 18 years of age- for Unarmed Security Officer.
- Be at least 21 years of age- for Armed Security Officer
- Must have at least two years experience working as an Armed Officer (if applicable)
- Be a United States Citizen or have Valid Immigration and Naturalization Service Employment Eligibility Documentation.
- Have the mental and physical capacity to perform security work
- Have a high school education or equivalent.
- Have a reliable means of transportation
- Be available by cell phone
- Have a flexible work schedule
- Have not been declared by any court to be incompetent by reason of mental disease or defect that has not been removed or expunged
- Have not been involved in any acts of dishonesty, or acts against a governmental authority.
- Submit to our background check, prior to employment.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug testing. (If requested)
- Have a valid B.S.I.S. Security Guard Registration
- Submit (DD214) Military discharge records (if applicant served in the Armed Forces)
- Have a valid B.S.I.S. Firearms Permit (if applicable)
- Have a valid California driver's license or California Identification card.
- Submit a complete VIP Protective Services Employment Application, with clear copies (on one sheet) of your Security Guard Registration, Firearm Permit (if applicable), CA D. L. or I.D.
- Submit to any voluntary pre-employment training that we may require.
- Submit to any pre-employment testing that we may require.
